We have several treatments that can aid in detoxification and inch loss including colon Hydrotherapy, Infrared Sauna, Infrared Body Wraps, and detox massage. Please read the information below for descriptions of each treatment.
"Detoxing" is simply garbage removal via our body's natural pathways (skin, lungs, kidneys & bowel).
The sad truth is that our modern lifestyle loads in more trash than our bodies were designed to easily eliminate, so over time we develop toxic deposits.

WHAT ARE TOXINS?
Toxins are chemicals that harm the body and they are divided into two categories; endotoxins & exotoxins.
Endotoxins are produced in our body by normal function i.e. lactic acid in muscles from exertion, or gas in the intestines from poorly digesting food.
Exotoxins come from external sources and we get them through ingestion, inhalation, & absorption through the skin. Some examples include cigarette smoke, alcohol, pesticides, food additives, pollution, body & hair products and drug residues.
Our elimination systems are very efficient and are capable of handling these toxins, to a point.
If the early warning signals are ignored or suppresssed for long enough, more sever symptoms can emerge such as arthritis, asthma, skin conditions, ulcers, obesity, severe PMS, menopausal symptoms, etc AND can eventually produce serious degenerative diseases.

Colon Hydrotherapy
A safe, gentle and effective way of supporting your body in the detoxification process. First we begin with a consultation to determine your needs & customize your program. This meeting establishes that you are in the driver's seat. Your results are taken seriously.
This process may involve changes to your nutrition with specific recommendations about water intake, herbs & supplements, food choices and extra fibre before your first CHT session to ensure the best results for your efforts.
Reflexology and aromatherapy are also included in your CHT sessions to further support rebalancing.

WHAT IS FAR INFRARED? Radiant heat, also called far infrared energy, is simply a form of energy that heat objects directly without having to heat the air in between. The infrared segment of the electromagnetic spectrum occurs just below or "infra" to red light. Never to be confused with ultra-violet energy. Far infrared heat is so safe it's used in hospitals to warm newborn babies.
The sun is the principle source of radiant energy. Invisible to human eyes, we can feel this type of energy, which we perceive as heat. When you are sitting on in the sun with sunblock on, the harful rays are filtered out but you still feel the heat. It penetrates 4 - 5 cm into the skin, the body's largest organ of elimination. Its molecular vibrations "jiggle" the tissues and speed up metabolic exchanges between cells which weakens the bonds between toxins and human tissues. This enables stored toxins to be flushed out of the system faster and in greater quantities through the skin (via sweating), liver and bowels.

Also, infrared heat penetrates even at lower temperatures and you can adjust the heat to your comfort level, and we have a fan to circulate the air around your head if need be.
What if saunas are too hot for me?
Because your head is not enclosed, you are able to breathe easier at room temperature. This can help prevent overheating and dizziness for those who haven't easily tolerated traditional saunas. Also, infrared heat penetrates even at lower temperatures and you can adjust the heat to your comfort level. It is always important, however, to get up slowly after a sauna and give your body time to cool down and adjust.
